Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born the only child to Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her professional career in the show business in the early years of her life. At the age of 16, she was sixteen, she had secured the leading roles in numerous television dramas. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also highly praised. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra is involved in many important projects both locally and internationally. One of these is the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek drama film The Dust of Time, and the French historic miniseries Napoleon. She was also in the jury panel of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
